Danish architect Cecilie Bendixen is considered one of the most innovative artists in Scandinavia. Her doctoral research on textiles and sound has shaped a series of sculptures and installations that are both poetic and dynamically structured by their acoustic properties.

 

Wall or mobile elements, Cecilie Bendixen's creations modify the sound comfort while creating a focal point for the eyes. Developed to maximize sound absorption, they mobilize advanced textile materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene and polyvinylidene fluoride.

 

Her interdisciplinary approach to design, combining arts, crafts and architecture, makes her a key player on the contemporary art scene. After Denmark, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Korea and the USA, the Phenomena exhibition is now visible in the Maria Wettergren Gallery in Paris.
