Saint-Gaudens, former economic capital of the county of Comminges and a natural crossroads between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, remains very attached to its history and heritage. Surrounded by sturdy ramparts overlooking the Garonne, at the foot of the Pyrenees, the collegiate church of Saint Peter, a true roman masterpiece of the 11th century hides a cloister to be discovered. Charles Abadie, a distinguished ophthalmologist who practised at the Hôtel Dieu hospital in Paris, was born here in the mid-19th century.
In 1985 Marc took over the store that had been opened in the early fifties by his father. Located 71 rue Victor Hugo, opposite the collegiate, the boutique is highly equipped for both eyesight and hearing. His optician training and his taste for difference allow him to share his technical vision with the Zeiss lenses as well as an aesthetic choice in the frames collection. His training as a hearing aid specialist and his constant search for better equipment gives his clients the confidence to take full advantage of his skills.
