Rigards

This is the story of a partnership between Ti Kwa from Malaysia and Jean-Marc Virard from France who share the same passion for eyewear. Their encounter in a vintage eyewear shop in Hong Kong marks the starting point of their collaboration.

Since their 2012 debut, Rigards have taken a stance opposite to the industrial production by creating bold frames solely using traditional materials such as genuine buffalo horn, sterling silver 925, copper and wood.

Ultra lightweight and very robust, the frames Rigards are handmade using ancestral methods and handicraft know-how in which each frame is made by the same person from start to finish.

Virtues of the past and modern sensitivity are brought together by designer and creative director, Ti, that uses natural materials made to last to create an eyewear collection with a subtle yet assertive elegance.
